What is Juicing?
Juicing is a process where raw fruits and vegetables are processed to extract their nutrient-rich liquids and the solid pulp and fiber is discarded. Juicing breaks foods down into their smallest molecular structure which means that the nutrients are already in the perfect shape for the body to absorb them.
After all, the stomach does exactly the same thing! There are several different types of juicers available but the best consumer grade are either cold-pressed or masticating. The reason these are better for you than blender style juicers is that the friction from the juicing process doesn't cause as much heat which can damage the nutrients, leaving you with nothing more than calorie filled sugar water.

The only issue is that many books actually suggest unsuitable additives like salt, sugar or soda. This book is really great if you want a lot of different recipes to choose from. This is a big book for someone who is already familiar with juicing and wants to expand the recipes they have available or simply try something new.
The biggest downside is that there's no calorie or nutrition information so you'll have to source that yourself. It's also very obviously written by someone who doesn't have health in mind since there are additives like sugar and salt to some of the recipes.
The book also focuses heavily on fruits rather than vegetables which seems questionable if it was actually written by someone who has any familiarity with juicing and questionable if the recipes are going to help you lose weight when the ingredients aren't all suitable.
Juicing Recipes: for Extreme Weight Loss: 21 Most Delicious, Fast & Easy Recipes for Losing Weight
This is a great introduction to juicing. The book explains where to start, what you need and also helps give you some simple to follow recipes. It's not a very extensive book, and this really is meant as an entry type recipe book so that you can get the hang of juicing.
There's not a lot of information on weight loss in it but it will get you started with juicing. These recipes don't have added sugar, so they are much more likely to help with weight loss.

This is probably the best recipe book for weight loss since it contains real and very detailed nutrition information. This is very practical compared to the other books because when you're trying to lose weight the nutrition and calorie information is the most important of all.
The recipes aren't, bad and they are fairly varied, though some of them are high in natural sugars and focus heavily on fruits. It's obviously written by someone who is familiar with juicing and offers plenty of recipes to keep your diet varied.
There are a few recipes that are high calorie but as long as you're varying the ones in the book and not just eating those it should still work for weight loss.

With an absolutely insane number of recipes, you're definitely not going to be bored of combinations with this book. It's extremely creative and fun to look at. The bright green does make some of the pages hard to read but it's still a lot of information.
Some of the recipes might seem a little strange (who blends broccoli with pears?) but there's also some extra recipes for blender mixes in there too.
For example, there's yoghurt smoothies, a chai tea, and even seltzer water recipes. The book is pretty and well laid out but there's actually not a lot of information in it. Some of the recipes are so short that it's an ingredients list and one line.
It's also extremely heavy, this is not an easy book to grab, weighing in at over 3lb it's a lot of pictures for very little substance. If you just need extra ideas this is a good choice but if you need more information on how juicing works this isn't for you.
Juicing Recipes from Fitlife
While celebrity endorsement isn't necessarily a sign of quality this is written by someone who knows what they're talking about. His recipes (over 100 in the book) actually cover fruits and vegetables but don't really specify what they're for or the nutritional information.
There's a lot of vegetable recipes in this book which makes a change from others which are fruit based. While there's not a lot of advanced information in it the recipe names are cute and easy to remember.
It's a good starter book but you may struggle if you're not at least comfortable with knowing your calories and how much sugar is in some juices.
There are thousands of juicing recipes for weight loss out there. You can easily get lost and choose wrong.
